Three-year-old Izhaan is from Madhya Pradesh. He loves football, Cocomelon, bedtime stories and vanilla ice cream. He dreams of going to school, making friends, and discovering the world around him. But today, his family is waiting for something that could change everything – a matching blood stem cell donor.
Izhaan is living with thalassemia, a blood disorder that means he needs regular medical care and blood transfusions. Each transfusion can take around half a day – precious hours that a little boy should be spending playing, learning and being with his family. While other children are spending those hours playing and learning, Izhaan is often waiting in a hospital.
